Transformative Healing Outcomes

A typical Bowen Therapy session involves a series of gentle, targeted movements performed at specific points on the body. These small, cross-fibre moves are applied over muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. The technique is non-invasive and deeply relaxing—ideal for relieving musculoskeletal pain and supporting nervous system balance.

What makes Bowen Therapy unique is the intentional pauses between each set of movements. These short breaks—often lasting two minutes or more—allow your body time to integrate the work, encouraging a shift into rest, repair, and realignment. During these pauses, your therapist may step out of the room to give your system space to respond.

Session Duration and Structure

  • Initial Consultation (90 minutes): Includes a full health assessment and your first Bowen Therapy treatment.
  • Follow-Up Sessions (up to 75 minutes): Tailored to your condition and treatment goals.
  • Baby Bowen (0–3 years): Gentle sessions lasting approximately 20 minutes, designed for infants and toddlers.

All treatments are performed over light, comfortable clothing—no oils or equipment required.

Recommended Treatment Plan

For optimal results, we recommend an initial series of three Bowen Therapy sessions spaced one week apart. This allows your body time to process and respond between treatments. Ongoing care is tailored to your individual needs—especially for long-standing conditions, where consistent support can make a meaningful difference.

Many clients managing chronic health concerns, such as Parkinson’s Disease or post-surgical recovery, find that regular Bowen Therapy sessions help maintain mobility, reduce discomfort, and support overall wellbeing.
